Agriculture is a cornerstone of Africa’s economy, contributing significantly to GDP, employment, and food security. However, despite its importance, crop yields across much of the continent remain low, primarily due to outdated farming practices, poor soil fertility, climate change, and limited access to modern technologies. With Africa’s population projected to grow to 2.5 billion by 2050, improving crop yields is more critical than ever to ensure food security, reduce poverty, and meet the growing demand for agricultural products.

To address these challenges, a combination of traditional knowledge, modern agricultural technologies, and sustainable farming strategies is essential.
