How to Get To The Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC)

Air travel

Traveling to Qatar has never been easier with the award-winning Hamad International Airport and the 5-Star Qatar Airways, offering direct flights to more than 150 destinations.

Once you arrive Doha, DECC will be only 20 min drive from the Airport, during this short drive you can enjoy the view of Doha’s stunning waterfront, following the Corniche.

Public transportation

Karwa taxi services

Karwa taxi services can be booked in advance by calling the call center on +974 800 8294.

For on-arrival booking, simply approach the Karwa taxi kiosk located in the Arrivals hall.

If you need to book special taxis for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) please call Mowasalat directly on (+974) 4458 8888, providing as much advance notice as possible.

Doha’s bus network

Doha’s bus network connects Hamad International Airport to various destinations across the city including the DECC, and offers a convenient transport option. The vehicles are clean, well-maintained and staffed by trained drivers and supported by helpful ground staff.

 Bus route to DECC: Route 777 / Operating Hours: 05:00-24:00 / Frequency: 20 minutes / Fares: QAR 5

DECC Metro station

DECC Metro station on the red line is next to the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center and only 23.5 minutes / nine stops from Hamad Airport Metro station.

Trains run every 5 minutes. The network is open Saturday to Wednesday between 06:00 & 23:00, Thursdays 06:00 & midnight and Fridays 14:00 & midnight.

All stations have friendly and helpful staff who can assist you during your journey.

Pre-Booking a limousine:
For pre-booking, please call Fox Limousine on (+974) 446 22 777 or click here for the online form.

Booking a limousine at the airport:
For on-arrival booking, simply approach the Mowasalat Limousine kiosk located in the Arrivals hall.

Ride Booking Apps:
Three ride-booking apps are available in Qatar: Fox, which is Local, the regional Careem app and the widely known international app UBER. 

Driving and Parking

If you’re driving from Hamad International Airport, simply head West and follow the F Ring Road, then Ras Abu Abboud Expy and finally Al Corniche Street to the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

The DECC is only a 20-minute drive from the airport, during which you can enjoy a view of Doha’s stunning waterfront as you travel along the Corniche..

Once you arrive at the DECC you can utilise our underground secured and climate-controlled 24/7 automated paid parking facilities. Car park operators are available from 07:00 until 01:00 (next day). Escalating hourly basis car parking fees are applicable as follows: First Four hours: QR 3 each, Every additional hour after the fourth hour:  QR 5, Maximum per day: QR 70, Lost ticket: QR 70

If you are arriving by taxi, limousine or shuttle bus, drop-off and collection can be made at the main entrance of the exhibition halls right in front of the Kahramaa and Ministry of Justice buildings.
