ANKPA, Nigeria, Sept 4, 2025 – The United Pan-Africanist Movement (UPAM) advanced its mission on Tuesday during the Northern Youth Summit in Ankpa, where traditional leaders, security chiefs, and youth representatives gathered to deliberate on empowerment, values, and leadership.
The summit welcomed the Ejeh of Ankpa as Royal Father of the Day, alongside representatives of the Commissioner of Police, the Chief of Defense Staff, the Executive Vice Chairperson of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Speakers underscored the importance of youth-focused policies, innovation, and rehabilitation strategies to improve living standards. Participants also emphasized the role of the NCC in addressing and escalating unresolved issues, strengthening institutional accountability.
UPAM described its participation as a strategic step ahead of its official launch, aimed at cultivating alliances and gaining stronger support for its upcoming programs.
Africa Arise Summit Participation
In addition, UPAM leaders joined the Africa Arise Summit 2025, convened by Dr. Henry Dubem, founder of The Golden Role Africa and lead manager of the Africa Active Restoration Initiative through Social Emancipation (ARISE).
The event honored King Makers and Community Service Heroes for their contributions to humanity, while also featuring young talents from The Lioners Academy. UPAM delegates engaged Dr. Dubem in discussions on partnership and collaboration, reinforcing shared values of service and leadership.

With active engagement at both summits, the United Pan-Africanist Movement signaled its readiness to mobilize youth, foster partnerships, and expand its continental influence ahead of its official launch.
