A Convention Travel Document (CTD) is issued to refugees in Uganda who are registered in accordance with the UN Convention on Refugees. What are the Conventional Travel Documents (CTDS) in Uganda?
The CTD shall be issued by the Directorate in consultation with the Office of the Prime Minister and in accordance with the Refugees Act.
Requirements
- Recommendation Letter from OPM
- Birth Certificates in the case of children
- Copy of Refugee ID
- Applicants to appear at OPMs office for personalisation
- Applications for Conventional Travel Documents shall be made personally at the designated Passport Office referred to in 11.6.
