Here is a List of Windows Apps for Browsers

Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox, or simply Firefox, is a free and open-source Web Browser Developed by the Mozilla Foundation and its subsidiary, the Mozilla Corporation. It uses the Gecko rendering engine to display web pages, which implements current and anticipated web standards.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a cross-platform web browser developed by Google. It was first released in 2008 for Microsoft Windows, built with free software components from Apple WebKit and Mozilla Firefox. It was later ported to Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android, where it is the default browser.

Microsoft Edge Legacy

The new Microsoft Edge is based on Chromium and was released in January 2020. It’s available on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. You can also download it for macOS, iOS, and Android.

Opera

Opera is a multi-platform web browser developed by its namesake company Opera. The browser is based on Chromium, but distinguishes itself from other Chromium-based browsers through its user interface and other features.

Vivaldi for Windows 64

On the JetStream 2 test, Vivaldi (177.4) scored a couple of points higher than Microsoft Edge (171.9) and Google Chrome (174.4). For me, Vivaldi’s only downside is that it’s not available on iOS and iPadOS. So if you’d like to sync your browsing data and don’t have an Android phone, you’re out of luck.

Tor Browser Bundle

What is Tor bundle? The Tor Browser Bundle is a portable, self-extracting package which contains a special version of Firefox, along with an application for connecting to Tor. You extract the bundle, and double-click “Start Tor Browser.” A connection window comes up and steps through an initialization sequence.

Pocket for Chrome

You can customize the Pocket for Chrome extension to suit your needs, including changing the keyboard shortcut, changing the extension theme color and more by visiting the Options page. Here are three ways to access it: Right-click on the Pocket icon and select Options

Grammarly for Chrome

Grammarly offers a free Chrome extension that vets grammar as you type on Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Tumblr.

Brave

Brave is a free and open-source web browser developed by Brave Software, Inc. based on the Chromium web browser. Brave is a privacy-focused browser, which automatically blocks online advertisements and website trackers in its default settings

Epic Privacy Browser

The Epic Privacy Browser is first web browser built on Chromium (like Google’s Chrome browser) engineered to protect your privacy. Epic is in always-on “private browsing mode”, so on close of Epic all browsing data is deleted (while you’re browsing as little as possible is stored).
Epic has removed all Google tracking and blocks hundreds of other companies from tracking you. If you turn on Epic’s encrypted proxy, you have protection from snooping by hackers, trackers, your ISP, government, and employer as well.

Apple Safari

Safari is a graphical web browser developed by Apple. It is primarily based on open-source software, and mainly WebKit. It succeeded Netscape Navigator, Cyberdog and Internet Explorer for Mac as the default web browser for Macintosh computers.

Google Chrome (64-bit)

32-bit vs. 64-bit. Google Chrome is available for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows operating systems. In terms of design and implementation, there’s no difference.

Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is a former series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft, included in the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems. The last version of IE, Internet Explorer 11 ended support for Windows 10 Semi-Annual Channel on June 15, 2022.

Mozilla Firefox (64-bit)

All Firefox versions are 64-bit on macOS. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Firefox can be installed on 64-bit Windows and Linux operating systems. See this blog post to learn more.

Avant Browser

Avant Browser is a freeware web browser from a Chinese programmer named Anderson Che, which unites the Trident layout engine built into Windows with an interface intended to be more feature-rich, flexible and ergonomic than Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.

SlimBrowser

SlimBrowser is a tabbed multiple-site web browser from FlashPeak, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based company. It formerly used the Microsoft Trident layout engine.

Netscape Communicator (32-bit Complete Install)

Download Netscape Communicator (32-bit Complete Install) for Windows to browse the Web and do more with Netscape’s browser suite.

Maxthon (Classic)

Maxthon Cloud Browser (previously known as MyIE2) is a free web browser that has improved a lot in its latest versions. It now has a unique and innovative multi-core processor design that can utilize Webkit and Trident.

Mozilla Firefox Portable

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition is a repackaged version of Mozilla Firefox created by John T. Haller. The application allows Firefox to be run from a USB flash drive, CD-ROM, or other portable device on any Windows computer or Linux/Unix computer running Wine.

Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer

Google Toolbar is a discontinued web browser toolbar for Internet Explorer, developed by Google. It was first released in 2000 for Internet Explorer 5. Google Toolbar was also distributed as a Mozilla plug-in for Firefox from September 2005 to June 2011.

Netscape Navigator

Netscape Navigator is a proprietary web browser, and the original browser of the Netscape line, from versions 1 to 4.08, and 9.x. It was the flagship product of the Netscape Communications Corp and was the dominant web browser in terms of usage share in the 1990s, but by around 2003 its use had almost disappeared.

Adobe Flash Player 32 ActiveX control content debugger (for IE)

The Adobe Flash Player ActiveX is software for viewing multimedia, Rich Internet Applications, and streaming video and audio, on a computer web browser. Flash Player runs SWF files that can be created by the Adobe Flash authoring tool, by Adobe Flex or by a number of other Macromedia and third party tools.
