You can view how much charge remains in your iPhone Battery in the status bar. How to Show Battery Percentage on an iPhone XR. You can also add a widget to the Home Screen to monitor the battery levels of your iPhone and connected accessories (including AirPods and other devices). Open the Settings app and the Battery menu. You’ll see an option for Battery Percentage. Toggle it, and you’ll see the percentage in the top-right of the Home screen at all times

View the Battery Percentage in the Control Center

  1. Swipe down on the screen from the top-right corner.
  2. The Control Center displays the battery percentage next to the battery icon on the top right of the screen.
  3. Tap the screen again to exit the Control Center.

Ask Siri for the Battery Percentage

  1. Long press the side button on the phone to activate Siri.
  2. Use a voice command like, “What is the battery percentage?”
  3. Siri will display the charge percentage on the battery and also say it aloud.

Add a Battery Percentage Widget to the iPhone XR

  1. Swipe right on the home screen to go to the Today View.
  2. Go to the bottom of the screen and select Edit.
  3. Select the “+” (Add) on the top left.
  4. Type “batteries” in the search bar to locate the Batteries widget. You can also find it in the available widgets when you scroll down the screen.
  5. Select from the three available Widget designs. The latter two allow you to display the battery status of your iPhone and any connected Bluetooth accessories.
  6. Tap Add Widget.
