Airtel Money Agent Requirements in Kenya

This Article Explains Airtel Money Agent Requirements in Kenya. In Kenya, to send mobile money you simply have to: Dial *222#, Airtel Money menu will be displayed. Select option 1 “send money”

Requirements for Limited Liability Companies

  1. Certified copy of the VAT certificate if applicable.
  2. Certified incorporation certificate of the company.
  3. Copy of a certified KRA PIN certificate.
  4. Copy of a valid business trading license.
  5. Functional company email address.
  6. National ID or Passport copies for at least two directors.
  7. At least Ksh 15,000 operational float for each outlet.
  8. Presence of at least one or two outlets.
  9. Colored passport photos of at least two directors.
  10. Download the Airtel Money Retail Outlet Application Form and complete it comprehensively.

Requirements for Sole Proprietorships or Partnerships

  1. Certified copy of the business name registration.
  2. Certified copy of your KRA PIN certificate.
  3. Colored passport photo of the owner or owners of the business.
  4. Copy of a valid business trading license.
  5. Copy of the accredited VAT certificate if applicable.
  6. Functional business email address.
  7. At least Ksh 15,000 operational float per outlet.
  8. Presence of at least one and up to two outlets.
  9. National ID or Passport of the owner or owners.
  10. Download the Airtel Money Retail Outlet Application Form from Airtel Kenya’s official website and complete it with accurate details.

  • You can simply contact them through their website
  • You can contact them by email via this address [email protected]
  • You can also reach the Airtel 24 Hour Call Center by dialing 100 from your mobile phone or 0733 100 100 from any other network (network provider charges apply)
  • You can also reach Airtel customer care service via SMS to the phone number 100
