How To Do A Vehicle Search Online In Kenya. Here are the steps of performing a NTSA motor vehicle search online, the service costs Kes. 550 -paid via mobile money service i.e MPesa, Equitel or Airtel Money.

How to conduct a Motor Vehicle Search online in Kenya Via NTSA TIMs

  • Go to the NTSA TIMSVIRL website https://timsvirl.ntsa.go.ke
  • Log in or create an account if you don’t have one.
  • Click on Online Search and continue to Copy of Vehicle Register Record
  • After entering the vehicle registration number without spacing, scroll down and click Enquire
  • If available, a copy of the vehicle register record will appear on the ”List of Vehicle(s)” section
  • Click Next to pay for the Search. You will then be required to make a payment of Kshs 550 which is the fee charged for a vehicle enquiry
  • Choose your preferred payment method.

If the payment is by Mpesa Paybill, follow the steps below

  • Go to Mpesa then select paybill option.
  • Enter business number 206206.
  • Enter the account number provided after choosing the Paybill option
  • Enter the required amount (Kshs 550).
  • Enter your Mpesa PIN then send.

Once the payment has been processed, follow the instructions provided on the website to download the requested vehicle registration information.
