The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is also waterproof, offers up to eight weeks of battery life, and supports wireless charging. It is priced at $279.99, with shipments starting on October 30.
In addition, Amazon introduced the second-generation Kindle Scribe, which features a 10.2-inch screen with 300ppi and new AI features like text summarization and converting handwritten notes to text. The Scribe now includes Active Canvas, retaining notes even when changing layout or font size, and comes with Amazon’s Premium Pen stylus. It will be available for $399.99, with shipments starting on December 4.
The new Kindle Paperwhite (2024) has a 7-inch e-ink display with a new oxide thin-film transistor, improving contrast for sharper text. It also offers 25% faster page turns and is fully waterproof. The standard edition starts at $159.99 with 16GB storage, while the Signature Edition with 32GB storage and wireless charging is priced at $199.99.
Lastly, the latest Kindle (2024) is an entry-level model similar to the 2022 version, but with faster page turns and 16GB storage, priced at $109.99.
