Google has officially started the mass rollout of Android 15, with its Pixel phones being the first to receive the update. To access Android 15, you’ll need a device from the Pixel 6 series or newer. Google has released an official blog post highlighting the key features of Android 15, which include enhanced security, optimizations for tablets and foldables, and new functionalities.

Notable Features in Android 15:
- Private Space: Allows you to lock sensitive apps behind an additional authentication layer, making these apps invisible in the app drawer, recent apps, notifications, and settings.
- Optimizations for Tablets and Foldables: Includes the ability to pin the taskbar for quick access to frequently used apps and app pairs, with the option to unpin using the same toggle.
- Theft Detection Lock: Automatically locks your phone when it detects theft-like motions, such as a sudden swipe and run. This feature is available on most devices running Android 10 and above.
- Remote Lock: Enables you to lock your phone from another device via your phone number, even if Find My Device is turned off.
